We're Moving!

My husband, Joey, just received orders to be the Engineering Petty Officer for the “Aids to Navigation” unit in Dulac, Louisiana! He is still active-duty in the U.S. Coast Guard, with 5 years left until he is eligible to retire. So, we are moving to Louisiana in hopes that this will be our last military move! It is bitter sweet to say good-bye to Florida and the amazing friends that we made while here, but we are so excited for a new adventure. Moving can be emotional and exhausting, but we ALWAYS make the best of it. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

We are fortunate that the girls are still young and hope that they won’t feel too much distress from moving away from “home”.

So next Spring/Summer we will be driving almost 14 hours to Dulac… If you know of any fun places or great restaurants along the way, let us know so that we can add it to the trip!

Let the house-hunt begin! Hopefully we are able to buy a house in the Houma area and make it our own… We have rented 4 houses in the past 4 years, so we are ready! ❤️

the people you love,

the places you go,

and the memories you make.”
